About Wilson

Diez was named major league physical therapist in February 2022. In 2023, he had the opportunity to be the assistant athletic trainer for team Dominican Republic at the world baseball classic. Prior to joining the Rays, he spent three years as a physical therapist in New Jersey. He also interned with the Athletics in the Dominican Republic with their DSL team and the Mets at their spring training facility in Port St. Lucie, Fl. Diez received his bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Kean University and doctorate degree in physical therapy from Marymount University. He resides in Tampa.
