About Scott
Scott Peters has been with the Toronto Blue Jays since 2017. He spent the 2017-2019 seasons as the Major League Assistant Physical Therapist and in 2020 began his role as Medical Research Coordinator. A native of Altona, MB, he obtained his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University in 2017 after receiving his Bachelors in Athletic Training and Corporate Fitness from Minot State University (ND) in 2013. He then completed a Masters degree in Management from Minot State in 2014 while serving as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach with the baseball program for the Division II University. Peters’ other previous experience includes an athletic training internship with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2012) in Tempe, AZ, assistant athletic trainer for the Lowell Spinners (Boston Red Sox, 2014), and game day assistant with the Carolina Hurricanes (NHL, 2015-2016). He also completed his Fellowship in Manual Therapy (FAAOMPT) in 2020 and serves on the research committee for PBPTS.
