About Rolando

Rolando (Ro) Rodriguez, 30, joins the Los Angeles Angels Major League training staff as a physical therapist after spending the 2025 season as a Minor League physical therapist for the organization.

Prior to joining the Angels, he served as a Minor League physical therapist with the Orioles, overseeing player rehabilitation in both Florida and the Dominican Republic during the 2024 season.

Rolando earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rutgers University in 2021. He completed a sports residency at the University of Evansville in 2022, becoming a Board-Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, and later completed the Hospital for Special Surgery/New York Mets Upper Extremity Sports Fellowship in 2023.

A native of Linden, New Jersey, Rolando attended Keystone College, where he competed in soccer and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
