About Mike

Mike is heading into his second year as Major League Physical Therapist after previously serving as Rehabilitation Coordinator in 2024. Originally from Nacogdoches, Texas, He completed his Bachelors of Science at Houston Baptist University in 2014 where he played collegiate baseball, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2018. He became a Board-Certified Sports Physical Therapy Specialist in 2022 and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists in 2023. Prior to joining the Marlins, he worked in a private sports performance facility and with Stephen F. Austin State University. He currently serves as adjunct clinical instructor for the University of Miami Upper Extremity Fellowship.
