About Melody

Melody Ovalles was born and raised in New York City with roots from the Dominican Republic. She attended Lehman College in the Bronx before earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX. During her doctoral training, Melody completed an internship at Texas A&M, confirming and enhancing her passion for working with athletes at the highest level.

Since graduating, Melody has built a well-rounded foundation through work with a wide range of high-level and professional athletes and performers. Her background includes working with the New York City Football Club during the 2024 season, professional lacrosse and hockey athletes, and most recently, professional dancers and aerialists on the National Broadway Tour of Wicked.

Melody is driven by a genuine love for helping athletes feel strong and capable. She believes that movement is one of the most powerful tools for both performance and longevity, which she strives to embody in her own training and lifestyle.
