About Marcus

Marcus is in his 10th year as a professional baseball Physical Therapist. He began his baseball career with the Cincinnati Reds as a minor league PT and eventually took on the role of Rehab Coordinator.

After five years with the Reds, he took a job with the Atlanta Braves as a major league PT. He is in his 5th year with Atlanta, and serves as the Major League Head Physical Therapist.

Marcus is a board certified Sports Physical Therapist, holds his Manual Therapy certification through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through NSCA.

Prior to working in baseball, Marcus worked as an outpatient orthopedic PT in New York City.

He was born and raised in Iowa City, IA and enjoys running, reading, and spending time with his wife, two daughters and family/friends.
