About Justin

Justin is currently the Assistant Major League Physical Therapist / Director of Minor League Physical Therapy for the Kansas City Royals, after serving as the Director of Minor League Medical Services/Physical Therapist for the past three years. Before that, he spent eight seasons as the Royals Minor League Rehab Coordinator. During the 2013 season, he completed a physical therapy fellowship with the club.

He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minn. with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2008. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy in 2011 from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences in Rochester, Minn. After graduating, Hahn completed the 2011-2012 sports physical therapy residency at the Institute for Athletic Medicine in Minneapolis. Following residency, he completed the 2012-2013 Proaxis Therapy and Kansas City Royals Upper Extremity Sports Physical Therapy/Professional Baseball Fellowship. He is dual board certified as both a sports and orthopedic specialist by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and a certified strength and conditioning specialist.
