About Garrett
Garrett Valls is entering his third season with the Cincinnati Reds in 2024. He joined the Reds after 2 years as a physical therapist on the human performance team of the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona. Previously, Garrett was the rehabilitation coordinator for the Toronto Blue Jays and completed an upper extremity athlete fellowship with the Kansas City Royals/ATI Physical Therapy. A native of Kennebunk, Maine, Valls earned his bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science from Northeastern University in 2015 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern in 2016. Valls became a board-certified sports clinical specialist in 2018, following completion of ATI Physical Therapy’s Sports Physical Therapy residency. Garrett presently serves the PBPTS as the National League Representative and as a member of the Fellowship Committee.
