About Ben

Hagar is currently in his first season as the Major League Director of Physical Therapy for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He previously served as the Major League Physical Therapist (2016-2022). Hagar graduated from Sacramento State University with his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2007 earned his Master’s of Physical Therapy degree from Sacramento State University in 2009. He became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2009 and a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy (SCS) in 2019. He currently serves on the MLB Medical Research Committee (2020-Present).
