Andrew Rigney is a dedicated physical therapist and board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist with extensive experience in high-performance athletics. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marshall University in 2016 and has since built a career centered on advancing athlete health, performance, and resilience.
In 2022, Andrew began working in professional baseball with the Boston Red Sox, where he contributed to the organization’s sports medicine and player-development efforts. He achieved board certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist in 2024, further solidifying his expertise in the management and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. He currently works within the Tampa Bay Rays organization, supporting elite athletes through evidence-based care and collaborative performance strategies.
Before entering the field of physical therapy, Andrew proudly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that shaped his commitment to service, discipline, and excellence—qualities that continue to guide his work in sports medicine today.
