About Morgan
Dr. Morgan Ivey, PT, DPT, SCS is a board-certified sports physical therapist specializing in overhead athlete rehabilitation and performance. She serves as the Minor League Rehab Coordinator for the St. Louis Cardinals, overseeing return-to-play systems across the player development pathway. She completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at High Point University, followed by a Sports Residency with ATI Physical Therapy and Fellowship at ASMI/Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, AL under Dr. Kevin Wilk. Dr. Ivey has worked with nationally recognized physicians at Andrews Sports Medicine, providing advanced rehabilitation and on-field care for collegiate and professional athletes. She has authored peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters on throwing-specific shoulder and elbow rehabilitation, ACL rehabilitation, and neurocognitive-motor integration. Her research interests include baseball and throwing biomechanics, ACL rehabilitation, the female athlete, and neurocognitive recovery strategies, and she has presented nationally and regionally on these topics.
